Playoffs and Rankings

Two of my favorite teams are playing pretty well right now.

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked #3 in the NCAA College Football rankings, right behind Alabama and Penn State. There are many games left in this season’s schedule, plus a potential monster game against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game in December, before the Dawgs can claim to be in the elite of college teams. They are a fun team to watch this year, with players like Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, Jake Fromm and Lorenzo Carter. They have great players and they play with passion.

The New York Yankees have been facing elimination throughout the baseball playoffs. With young players like Aaron Judge, Didi Gregorius and Gary Sanchez (and the rest of the team) playing with an attitude of “the game is not over until it’s over” (Yogi Berra would be proud), they keep coming back time after time to win games. Who knows what will happen the rest of the playoffs, but maybe they’ll make it to another World Series. It’s fun watching them play.

I’m enjoying the fall sports so far. And hey, my other team, the Fighting Irish, is looking pretty good this season as well. Keeping an eye on them too.
