Derek has devoted his life to serving others and helping people to make some of life’s most important decisions. He is passionate about helping people move from where they are to where God wants them to be. He has worked with Olympic athletes, business owners, church leaders, families, and individuals in a variety of settings.
He is a native of metro Atlanta and lived for ten years in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. He has traveled to many nations and knows that each person is uniquely created in the image of God. He believes that the most important decision anyone can make is this: believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins, receive eternal life, and surrender your life to Christ — becoming more and more like Jesus every day.
Derek is committed to excellence, integrity, serving others, and fun! His two core values are these: treat people the way you want to be treated, and go the extra mile!
His hobbies include playing basketball, working out, traveling, reading, helping out at local schools, audiobooks, podcasts, coaching sports, and doing anything with his family. He’s written many blog posts covering sports topics, driving tips, and Bible studies.
He serves churches as interim pastor when there is a need, helping people to spiritually move from where they are to where God wants them to be.
